ARTIST STATEMENT

My drawing practice revolves around the repetitive, meditative process of mark making . Working small scale with accumulation of line and negative space to create forms often with no intended outcome, allows me to investigate ideas of space, time, micro/macro scale, whilst echoing growth in nature. 

The introduction of water as a medium in my work has enabled me to start exploring colour and it's energies, adding a new narrative and organic feel to my drawings.
